Dra. Ruth Rodríguez-Martínez

Ruth Rodriguez-Martinez has taken part in several research projects in the fields of Media Ethics, Digital Media and History of Journalism. She has participated in the European MediaAcT Project and has been visiting professor at the Missouri School of Journalism (USA), at the Laboratoire de  Communication Politique du CNRS (Paris, France) and at the Columbia School of Journalism in New York (USA). In 2013, she received post-doctoral grant from AGAUR (Catalan Agency for Administration of University and Research Grants). 

Before joining the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2006, she earned her doctorate in 2005 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with the thesis "Journalistic reality in fiction: Illusions perdues by Honoré de Balzac, Bel Ami by Guy de Maupassant, and The Quiet American by Graham Greene".
