Press publishers and copyright. All that you wanted to know but never asked

Prof Javier Díaz Noci, member of the GRP (Journalism and Digital Documentation Unit, UPF) was invited by OpenFroum Europe on October 17, 2016, to participate to speak in a session held at the European Parliament in Brussels on the topic of ‘Press publishers and copyright – All that you wanted to know but never asked’, a briefing hosted by MEP Catherine Stihler. Díaz Noci explained some points of view on the new press publishers’ right included in the Proposal for a Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on Copyright in the Digital Single Market, launched on September 14, 2016. This report reflects the guidelines explained in that session, in more details.
